Kristopher S. Barber | Founder, The Barber Law Firm

A native of Plano, Texas, Kris Barber studied law at Southern Methodist University (SMU) and began his career in law as an attorney at a large defense firm. There, he learned first-hand how cases are defended and about the circumstances under which defendants pay to settle lawsuits. When he made the decision to work as a plaintiff’s attorney for the Dallas Law Offices of Windle Turley, PC, he used that knowledge to begin advocating for clients injured as a result of negligence and malpractice. At Windle Turley, Mr. Barber honed his expertise in handling numerous negligence cases, product liability cases, medical malpractice cases, and other personal injury cases.

Since founding The Barber Law Firm, Mr. Barber has been awarded an AV® Peer Review Rating for ethical standards and legal ability—the highest rating a lawyer can obtain. Matt Herzog | Attorney, The Barber Law Firm

Matt Herzog is a native of Dallas, Texas. He graduated with a double major in Political Science and Russian language from Brigham Young University. After college, Matt attended Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. While at SMU law, Matt was a two-time Mock Trial champion and competed in oral-advocacy tournaments across the country. Upon graduating from law school, Matt was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a nationally recognized oral-advocacy honors society that accepts only ten student-advocates from each law school a year. 

As a Trial attorney Matt takes pride in being the voice for our clients in the courtroom. He focuses on litigating car accidents cases, work injury cases, medical malpractice cases, and other general negligence matters.

Megan David | Attorney, The Barber Law Firm

Megan L. David, an associate attorney, focuses her practice on civil litigation matters involving personal injury and premises liability.

Megan was born and raised in Dallas, Texas.  She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors degree in Criminology.  Megan then attended St. Mary’s University School of Law, where she was a devoted member of the Mock Trial team.  While in law school, Megan made the Dean’s List, was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, was the Regional Champion of the National Trial Competition, won “Outstanding Mock Trial Advocate of the Year,” and was honored to be inducted into the National Order of the Barristers.
